Framework Systems was established in 1996 with the intention of delivering value based services to users of IT systems.
Although such a statement could easily be interpreted as just more words aimed at making people feel stupid, the term "value based services" has real meaning to us and is captured in our motto: Integrity, Knowledge and Experience.
These concepts, although in themselves asking for definition, are what we believe to be the core components of wisdom. The application of knowledge, through experience (experimentation) and applied with honesty has a high probability of providing something of value for which clients are prepared to pay something in exchange.
As it is with all of us, we cannot be everything to all people and in due course the company built a unique set of competencies

Research and Project Based Grant Management.
We have built an excellent skills base around the management of funds in the areas of project based grant funding scenarios.
Not only are we in touch with the management of funding cycles but have also built core competence in the areas of capacity development and strategic planning within institutions that embark on funded projects and as such we are able to assist in securing funding and to construct and continuously manage plans and outputs related to obtained funds in order to protect stakeholder interests.

Using 25 years of software development successes, our flagship product "Fund Plus" will help you through the entire grant funding life cycle.
From applications, through project evaluations, compliance and milestone measures, funding release authorisations, payment instructions, proof of expenditure, partner contribution checking, returns of unspent funds, general ledger interfacing and management reporting.

An important approach which distinguishes us from competitors is our focus on appropriate support. Each funding or management agency has its own unique set of quirks and requirements. We think we understand a lot of them but not all your unique ones so, getting to know you is really the only way we can ensure you are successful. Our product is highly customisable and you can have your very own flavour of the product and we will be happy to maintain this unique set of functions specific to your needs only.
Of course there is always the matter of cost. Unfortunately we do not have the resources of Mr. Gates at our disposal (despite having philantropic hearts) so we do have to ask something in return. Our cost model is really simple and we burden our clients with a maximum of 0.1% of their annual funding portfolio (conditions apply). Of course the bigger the fund, the more we are willing to scale down on the cost to as low as 0.05%. We think this is reasonable but if you disagree, we are always willing to listen to argument and could make exceptions or change our policy altogether if you really make sense.
Give us a call, you may find a surprisingly sober minded, no frills response. Just don't expect us to do slick presentations and smart talking - we focus on delivery and that is really all we are good at.
